Customers want to experience their own products when designing for product development. This requires better design, simulation, authority, management and manufacturing capabilities, as well as collaboration across the entire value chain.
Dassault Systèmes unveiled 3D Experience Works at the 3D Experience World 2020 at the Nashville Music City Center in the US, offering better connectivity, integration and automation as a platform that simplifies the creative process and saves time and money.
3D Experience Works is available in standard, professional, and premium versions, and is available for SolidWorks standard, professional, and premium applications. Applications can be installed, licensed, and updated on the 3D Experience platform where data is stored. Existing SolidWorks customers can also use existing desktop applications to design and interpret new customer experiences. It provides flexible access to the latest project data, including collaboration, embedded data management and automatic software updates.
New Features 3D Creator and 3D Sculptor can be used in any environment and in any browser. Of the dozens of powerful applications 3D Experience Works offers, you can selectively extend and enhance the capabilities of SolidWorks for your job.
“The 3D Experience platform integrates planning, design, simulation, manufacturing, sales, and service management,” said Jiang Paolo Vaci, Dassault Systèmes Solidworks CEO. Customers can continue to purchase a single version of SolidWorks on-demand if desired, but new customer-focused options can reduce the overall time to think, create, and complete a job. ” The company said it plans to offer similar options.
