Activision Blizzard is one of the largest American companies involved in the production and publishing of computer games. Recently, it published its financial results for the entire last year. They show that the greatest income was generated by games for iOS and Android.
Games for mobile platforms earned $ 2.2 billion for Activision Blizzard in 2019, thus accounting for 34% of the company's revenues (5% more than in the previous year). Console games, which earned the most for the company in 2018, fell to second place in 2019 with a score of $ 1.92 billion. Games for personal computers earned $ 1.72 billion.
Bobby Kotick, president of Activision Blizzard, noted at a meeting for investors that games for mobile devices not only bring a huge income to the company, but are also a great advertisement for its other products. As an example, he gave the free Call of Duty: Mobile game released last year, which helped increase interest in the Call of Duty brand. The company expects that thanks to this series games will sell better in 2020 than in 2019.

It is worth recalling that in the near future Activision Blizzard plans to release another mobile game based on one of its most popular brands – Diablo Immortal. If she manages to repeat the success of Call of Duty: Mobile, it can be expected that in the future we will see more mobile productions based on popular games from this company's catalog.
