Filip Arickx is stopped after 22 years, the couple reports to WWD. The
collection that now hangs in stores will be the last of it

The end for fashion brand A.F. Vandevorst
According to the couple, the decision to stop the label is because
the dynamics in the fashion world have changed. “It's a bigger challenge,
it is more uncertain and disruptive than ever before. We are among the
realized that we do not have the same level of creativity and
being able to hold storytelling alongside the product and we can no longer
working with our method.
The brand already stopped the ready-to-wear line in 2017. The design duo
shifted their focus to off-season capsule collections. although
the A.F. Vandevorst label now stops, the couple does not see this as the end
of their career in the fashion industry.
