Staff Reporter: A new index of the CNI-DSE Select Index (CDSET) has been inaugurated by the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday. DSE Chairman Prof Dr inaugurated the index in the presence of DSE shareholders. Abul Hashem.
Three new indexes, CNI-DSE Select Index, CNI-DSE Midcap Index and CNI-DSE Small Cap Index, will be opened on the DSE website from January 1.
The index includes market capitalization (top local), fundamentals (profitability) and liquidity (trading, trading) for company inclusion. The basis of the index is December 25 and the base value is 3 thousand points. There are currently 5 companies on the full-price index every 6 months.
It was launched on Monday, with a strategic investor, the Shenzhen and Shanghai Stock Exchange, with the Chinese consortium's commercial and technical support to launch three new indicators based on DSEs (including large, medium and small capital companies).DSE Chairman Prof Dr. Abul Hashem said the DSE has signed an agreement with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the Consortium of Shanghai Stock Exchange as per the provisions of the Demutualization Act. Under strategic partnerships, DSE has planned long-term cooperation in key areas for technology, market development and product development for high-quality growth in the market.
Under the mutual cooperation between the Dhaka Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, initiatives were initially initiated to introduce new indices for the DSE. Both sides have actively agreed to design, develop, launch, promote and co-brand the new DSE index.
In a welcome address, DSE Managing Director (Incharge) Abdul Matin Patwari said that DSE and Shenzhen Securities Information Company are announcing the technical cooperation between DSE and its strategic investors. Three new indices CNI-DSE Select Index, CNI-DSE MidCap Index and CNI-DSE SmallCap Index will be launched.
