A man raped a woman while she vomited into a train bathroom. The rapist further claimed that she had “liked” it.
Timothy Davies, 45, of Ramsgate, England, was sentenced to six years in prison after being found guilty of rape last week.
The case dates back to December 9, 2018. Davies was traveling by train to the city where he lived, with his wife, when he found the victim and raped her around 1:00 am.
The victim was traveling in the same carriage and felt bad, so Davies offered to help. Images captured by video surveillance cameras show the man “offering help” and, later, took her to the bathroom and locked the door. He raped her while she was leaning over the toilet because she was unwell.
Davies' wife called for her husband three times and knocked on the door insistently just as the attack was taking place. Davies replied that the victim was feeling bad without opening the door to the woman.
After the attack, the victim returned home and told the family what happened. The next step was to make a complaint to the competent authorities.
Davies was arrested the same morning and was held by the police for questioning. During the same, Davies claimed that sexual activity was consented and said that the victim had “liked it”.
