If your family forgets, remind them of the things they need to do with a school board reminder that you can easily create yourself.
These wonderfully simple reminders can serve to alert you to some of the appointments that await you throughout the day, or to write gentle messages to your family and pin them in a conspicuous place. We found the idea at Happy clippings blog and it just thrilled us.
- Wooden laundry clips
- Small rectangular plywood rectangles
- School board color
- Self-adhesive tape
Glue the plywood rectangles to the wood clips and put something heavy on them, or squeeze them into the crepe to glue them as well as possible.
Once you have glued the plywood, it's time to paint your boards. Glue the ends of all four sides of the piece of plywood with adhesive tape (about 4 mm from the end) to give a nice edge, then coat the inside with black paint that can be chalked.
You will need two coats of paint.
Allow your reminders to dry completely, peel off the adhesive tape and your reminders are ready to remind or cheer someone up.
