Another flight takes place this Wednesday as part of the joint operation of the Portuguese authorities for the repatriation of citizens who are on board the cruise ship MSC Fantasia, in the Port of Lisbon.
This flight, which will take place at 2 pm, bound for Marseille, will carry 152 people, 62 of which will be crew members.
The announcement was made through an official statement from the Portuguese Republic. The same document states that “citizens will leave the ship and be escorted to Humberto Delgado airport, in Lisbon, for the return flight”.
It is recalled that 1,338 passengers were on the ship, which docked at the Port of Lisbon last Sunday, mostly from the European Union, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Australia.
“Of these, 27 citizens (20 Portuguese and 7 holders of Residence Permits in Portugal) disembarked on Monday. This operation, which takes place in conjunction with several embassies from different countries, involves the General Directorate for Consular Affairs and Portuguese Communities, the Foreigners and Borders Service, the Public Security Police, the National Civil Aviation Authority, the General Directorate of Health, the Maritime Police, the Tax and Customs Authority and ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal.
