That night his samples were collected at Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Hospital and sent to BITID in Fauzdarhat for examination. His corona was identified in the report given to BITID on April 11 after the sample test. As a result, on the morning of April 12, the Satkania Upazila Health Complex collected samples from the family members of the deceased, the autorickshaw driver carrying them and 18 people who came in contact with them and sent them for examination. After the examination of these samples, the report given by BITID on April 14 identified the corona of 5 out of 16 people. They were later taken to Chittagong General Hospital on April 18 for treatment.
Meanwhile, after the corona of 5 people from the same area was identified at the same time, samples of the person who died of corona and some other close relatives who came in contact with the family members were collected and sent for testing.
The report obtained after the examination of these samples identified the corona of the daughter-in-law of the daughter of the deceased, a resident of Rupnagar in the madrassa. After the corona of the person was identified, samples of 6 more members of his family were collected on April 20 and sent for testing. After testing the samples, a report from BITID on April 26 identified the corona of six members of the same family. The six are family members of the man identified on April 19 and close relatives, including the daughter of a man who died of corona in Ichhamati Alinagar.
Also, on April 12, 1 person from Gatia Para of Ward 1 and 1 person from Sham Chowdhury Para of Ward 7 of Satkania Municipality were identified as corona. He added that 15 corona have been identified in Satkania so far. Among them, one died at Ichhamati Alinagar in West Dhemsha. The remaining 14 were sent to Chittagong General Hospital for treatment. Of the 14 people undergoing treatment, 3 recovered and returned home yesterday. Their home is in Ichhamati Alinagar.
