Auto2000 distributes 190 food packages to the community around the Auto2000 branch.
– Auto2000 tries to lighten the burden on the people who are affected Covid-19 economically, by donating food packages in the environment around the Auto2000 branches throughout Indonesia.
It is well understood that the Covid-19 outbreak affected the community because business activities declined and even stopped altogether, causing many to find it difficult to meet basic needs.
Donations made in the form of daily basic needs such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, milk, instant noodles, and other needs, as well as the need to prevent transmission of Covid-19 include hand sanitizers, cloth masks, and hand washing soap.
Auto2000 will distribute a total of 29,190 food packages through 126 branches throughout Indonesia until the end of May 2020. In details, Sumatra has 4,000 packages, DKI 1 5,347 packages, DKI 2 6,024 packages, West Java 5,985, Kalimantan and Bali 1,274 packages, and East Java 6,560 food packages.
Until now more than 50% of the total food packages have been given to the community around the Auto2000 branch environment since last April.
Martogi Siahaan, Chief Executive of Auto2000, said that with the distribution of dealers throughout Indonesia, he was called to provide assistance by distributing food packages and other necessities for affected residents around the Auto2000 branch.
“The hope is that donations can ease the burden on society and minimize the transmission of the Covid-19 outbreak,” Martogi explained, in his official broadcast on Wednesday (29/4).
For information, the action carried out by Auto2000 is in line with the program run by Astra International titled Astra's Conscience and the Toyota Indonesia program, #ToyotaAdaFor you.
Other donations were channeled by providing assistance to the KBA residents assisted by Auto2000 who were affected by this plague to open an online fast food sales business. (dp / MTH)
