Philips is launching a new monitor 243B1 with a 24-inch W-LED backlit IPS panel, with 91% NTSC and 107% sRGB color space, it can be used not only for general office but also for simpler graphic work.
The new display has a 75Hz refresh rate and 4 millisecond response time and a maximum brightness of 250 nit. It was a smart decision for the manufacturer to install the PowerSensor, which monitors whether someone is sitting in front of the monitor and adjusting the brightness accordingly. Customizable with a height-adjustable, tiltable and rotatable SmartErgoBase sole, which can be replaced on any VESA 100 stand if required, and the Kensington lock can be used to protect the glued hands.
On the back of the monitor are DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and USB Type-C inputs, which can charge up to 65 watts of compatible notebooks, plus a RJ45, two jacks and four USB 3.2 connectors.
The Philips 243B1 is expected to hit stores in March for € 269.
