Tiny frames can be used whenever storage needs to be increased, data transferred or archived. This makes it easy to provide new usability to an old but still functioning SSD (for example, after replacing a disk on your computer with a new one).
Evolveo Tiny N1 is a frame for the NVMe SSA SATA format, while the Tiny M1 is for solid-state M.2 SATA drives. Both frames support USB A 3.1 Gen 2 and are backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 standards.
Of course, not only the frame itself is included, but the user also receives the appropriate reductions for each connector / interface. Evolveo says the data rate is up to 10 Gbps. The drive is powered directly through the USB interface, so it does not need an external power supply. The dimensions of both frames are 105 × 38 × 10 mm.
Installing the drive in the rack is easy, just plug it into the pre-installed internal connector. With Plug and Play and Hot Swapping, it is instantly ready for use without having to restart your computer.
Availability and price
