“- We are not afraid”, say the medical staff from Arad.
-Why are doctors and nurses made, if they are afraid? Question by a mitocholy journalist, not a rabbi.
Not everyone is as brave as CTP or Moses Guran, microphone and pen heroes. The latter, after stumbling through the ears of the young, advanced in politics as a great guru and was filled with blood.
Fear is part of man's primary experiences. Each tries to defeat her in different ways and times. Some may, some may not. I find it uncivilized to get on your feet with the person paralyzed by fear. Either they tremble, or they mask it with skill. It reaches the feeling of powerlessness that overwhelms and will never be able to forget.
This joke about courage has something of a hideous famfaron. Usually, the circus about courage and fear is caused by the least brave. And those with big holes in character. He wouldn't even stand in a stretcher race.
I do not think that their contempt for those in fear brings a dash of courage to the behavior of others. It pollutes only the psychic and moral atmosphere of society. All the attempt of some to impose in the public behavior rules of Greek tragedy seems to me unnecessary and painful. He goes to the courses about the Iliad and the Odyssey or to the leadership lessons, where the moral models are described. At this moment, some are trembling with fear and need confidence, encouragement, respect for what they do, and even appreciation. Of little humanity and understanding.
I do not understand why, in a society that has insisted on fighting for all kinds of pensions, of which no one stands up to support the cause of the medical staff. If the benefit of those working in hospitals during the pandemic season ends tragically, the family will receive a reward. As in the case of soldiers who fell on the battlefield. We're still saying we're at war! Maybe I'm wrong. It is just an idea to strengthen the morale of those who pull hard for our fellow citizens. And in other countries such a debate is taking shape. Instead of stupid topics, we could try a discussion about it. It is honorable for those on the barricades in hospitals. It's a form of honesty. I am not impressed by the PSD's efforts to launch all kinds of sympathy measures for future elections. On the contrary, it deserves contempt. These are just ideas that do not jump to the knee of the frog, cheap forms to buy scared souls of the simple ones for a future political battle.
And because we are talking about courage and trust, fear and despair, the time has come for people who run the radio and television news to be much more careful and careful. Some shows and some moderators are like pumps that pour pessimism and despair into society. If you follow some people for more than a quarter of an hour, it is up to you to kill yourself, to cry, to clap, to break a window, to close your accounts with the world. Or turn off the TV. It is true that this freedom is guaranteed. Anyone can press a button for another remote control station. But there is no state weather on cartoon channels, when the situation in Romania and in the world changes every hour. People need information. Unfortunately, all the ladies left uninvited turned into thinkers, health analysts, voluptuous pandemic guesses, deadly news outlets. And all of them ask the exasperating, sly question of Ciutacu's thoughts:
–What do you think, when this thing ends?
In my humble opinion, CEOs and editors should walk a little to the tap from which pessimism and horror flow in the name of freedom of expression. I mean a certain professional rigor. The fool who knocks the fields or breaks the walls with his head only to squeeze the tears of the spectators deserves a bit of professional turning. And respect!
Not journalists are the commanders and priests of this tragedy!
