According to IPJ Arges, the police carried out four searches in the city of Pitesti in a criminal case regarding the crime of misdemeanor, writes Mediafax.
“As part of the activities carried out to prevent and limit the effects of the pandemic caused by the infection with the COVID-19 virus, the policemen from the Argeş Economic Crime Investigation Service performed today (Friday n.
r.), four searches in the municipality of Pitesti, at a hospital unit and at the homes of two natural persons ”, transmitted IJP Argeş.
From the research, it turned out that an employee of SJU Pitesti “would have stolen specific protective equipment from management, which he would have given to various individuals.”
Following the searches, police officers removed masks, gloves and disinfectant solutions from the homes of the two people.
Three people were taken to the police station for hearings.
Police are trying to determine whether or not the manager has sold the protective equipment.
