Favorite server DxOMark, which tests smartphone cameras among others, took time, but eventually evaluated the latest Huawei P40 Pro. The result is a new record and a new king of mobile photography.

As expected, Huawei P40 Pro ranked at the top of the DxOMark mobile photo shoot. The result of the comprehensive DxOMark test published today and speaks clearly in favor of the flagship from Huawei.
Huawei P40 Pro scored 128 points in the main camera test, which is an absolute record so far, ranking second with 124 Oppo Find X2 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. P40 Pro has also achieved similar success in the field of selfie, scoring 103 points, which is a new record on the charts.
In the field of photography Huawei can congratulate, scored 140 points, while the camera rating is equal to 105 points. By comparison, the Oppo Find X2 scored 134 points for photosensitivity, while 104 for video shooting.

The editors of DxOMark praised the new superphon from Huawei wide dynamic range, excellent sharpness of textures and details, great bokeh effect and last but not least as always excellent night shots. They were criticized, as in our phototest, in places unrealistic colors (even in low light conditions).
In addition, the Huawei P40 Pro has four excellent resolution sensors. At the forefront is a 50Mpx main sensor with optics from Leica.
