“Following the decision of the Regional Hygiene Station of the Olomouc Region to terminate the quarantine in the Litovel and Uničov regions, train stops in July and Uničov have been resumed from Monday,” said Czech Railways spokeswoman Vanda Rajnochová.
The Červenka station stands on the main railway corridor from Olomouc to Prague. Uničov train station is on the line from Olomouc to Šumperk. From Tuesday, trains will also resume on the regional line from Červenka to Litovel and Senice na Hané, which continues further to Prostějov. Due to closed schools, not only three pairs of school connections will go.
Unicov Town Hall has warned on its website that it has not yet been confirmed whether this morning, along with the resumption of the operation of the trains, the signaling system will be launched at the level crossing. “Drivers must follow traffic signs,” she said.

Police and military police patrols withdrew from the access roads early this morning. The area of approximately 24,000 inhabitants has been closed since Monday 16 March. People could not leave the cadastral territory and strictly restricted movement as well.
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Olomoucký Region on Sunday increased according to the data of the Regional Hygiene Station by ten cases to 241 patients. The number of patients in the Olomouc region continued to increase, with 190 cases confirmed according to hygienists. The number is growing mainly in Olomouc, while in the Litovel and Uničov areas where hygienists abolished quarantine, the data did not increase on Sunday. There were 79 confirmed infections in Litovel and 37 in Unicov.
