The official representative of the LPR People’s People’s Republic, Yakov Osadchy, said that in the units and formations in the “OOS” zone, a difficult epidemiological situation is developing, against which civilians are suffering.
“In the area of responsibility of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, radiation, chemical and biological (RHB) protection units have deployed points for sanitization and disinfection of weapons and military equipment. Due to the low level of training of specialists in chemical protection units during sanitation, one soldier of the 59th brigade received severe chemical poisoning and was taken to the hospital in the village of Chasov Yar, ”the republic’s defense department noted.
“In addition, nine civilians with symptoms of poisoning are already in Svetlodarsk medical institutions,” Osadchy added.
“In order to avoid poisoning with chemically active substances, as well as infection with the COVID-19 virus, we urge civilians living near military facilities to protect themselves from communication with the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the representative of the LPR Army said.
