This is basically a legendary car from perhaps one of the last golden ages of Japanese car manufacturing. This is a 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI RS, or Rally Sport. Which no longer spits the gravel across the gravel, but attacks the crank axis by 1,400 horsepower at the eight-second dream limit of a quarter mile.
Obviously, most of the engine is no longer a factory part, but the amount of horsepower that is squeezed out of the original four-cylinder is noteworthy. And the sight speaks for itself, and the chassis setup seems to have failed to fully track the horsepower, so the machine springs down the track like a lost grasshopper. Of course, the guy won't lose it!
