BEE, the business unit of MailUp dedicated to developing content builders integrated into SaaS applications, launched Page Builder, a new product of the family BEE Plugin for creating web pages.
Thanks to BEE Plugin, SaaS applications can offer their customers a tool to create impactful and responsive mobile landing pages. Page Builder takes advantage of the same features already available for creating emails, enriching them with additional potential such as the insertion of forms, videos and scripts, for example for the inclusion of surveys created with Survey Monkey or Typeform on the page.
The combination of Email Builder and Page Builder allows SaaS applications to guarantee a unique and uniform user experience in creating emails and web pages. For each new activation of the Page Builder before 30 April 2020, BEE offers three months of free use as part of the #StayStrong initiative, as a contribution in addressing the current Covid-19 emergency. Subsequently, a discounted price will be available for the bundled activation of Email Builder and Page Builder.
To further support companies in difficulty due to the pandemic, BEE has published on its email design blog tips and guidelines on how to communicate effectively with your audience and created 3 email models to be used as a starting point for corporate communications related to the current crisis. THE models they are free and can be edited with the BEE editor, then downloaded and used everywhere.
In 2019 BEE reported revenues of over 2.6 million euros, an increase of 111% compared to the previous year, and an EBITDA of around 35%.
“Since the first day of our drag-and-drop email editor's life, in the autumn of 2015, SaaS companies have asked us to create a version for web pages. Their customers are often in the situation of having to create both email and web pages, and they want a single tool to do both. With Page Builder, they can now. After testing it with 50 SaaS applications in recent months, today we are excited to officially release it. We are also very aware of the current economic situation, therefore we are happy to guarantee all customers (both new and existing) three months of absolutely free use of Page Builder. We hope this will allow them to enrich their product, so that when the economy starts up again, they will have a better chance of recovery “, he said Massimo Arrigoni, General Manager of BEE.
“Despite the general economic situation, BEE continues to experience significant growth. Free trial requests hit an all-time high in March and the BEE Templates for Gmail add-on peaked at over 215,000 users. BEE was founded by MailUp Group as a product-led startup: in continuity with this principle, we listen carefully to users' requests for the creation of cutting-edge products that fully meet their needs. This year we released AddOns, which allows third-party companies to easily enrich our Editor with useful widgets, such as countdown timers or dynamic QR codes, “he added Nazzareno Gorni, founder and CEO of MailUp Group, “Today, with the launch of the new Page Builder, a new revenue stream opens and an increase in ARPA is expected. Gross margins close to 80% allow BEE to self-finance its growth: In the past few weeks alone, around ten employees have joined the team. For this success I have to thank the talent and commitment of Massimo Arrigoni and his team, able to collaborate effectively even if distributed across multiple continents and time zones. “
