– The big name of the French car manufacturer is not only associated with the automotive world. Even when it first appeared in the world, Peugeot was already engaged in businesses outside of automotive.
Entering this era, the creativity of the manufacturer from Sochaux, France, has spread to other industries. It's no exaggeration that the global Peugeot has a Peugeot Design Lab for unlimited creativity.
Some products have also been born and still prioritize the stylish side of its designs. One of them is designing a ship cabin from a luxury marine transportation service company, Bourbon Mobility.
Now, Peugeot Design Lab is again trusted by luxury cooking equipment manufacturers in France, Le Marquier, to design its newest products.
The products are plancha or better known as a roasting machine for household needs. Peugeot Design Lab designed this product not only in terms of functionality but also in terms of design.
“We design attractive, beautiful and feminine shapes but look modern. The angles and levers are made in such a way as to meet the very attractive characteristics of Plancha, “said Celine Venet, Peugeot Design Lab Designer.
Ergonomic design was highlighted on the product to provide its own pleasure for its users. The curved lines on the lip of the tray give an art picture.
This concept illustrates the flow of water in the Atlantic Ocean, while two control levers form to emphasize a beautiful yet functional design.
Please note, in designing Plancha, Peugeot Design Lab sticks to their previous experiences in the culinary world.
They once designed a foodtruck called 'Le Bistrot du Lion' for Peugeot, Salt & Pepper Mills Peuegot, and also designed a bar section for the Gillardeau Oyster House. (dp / MTH)
