This morning a hotel on the island of Tenerife has been closed off so that no one can enter or leave the hotel.
The hotel H10 Costa Adeje Palace is used by travel companies TUI and Bravo Tours, among others.
“We can confirm that the hotel is closed off by police, so our people down there cannot come in to our guests, but I have not been confirmed if they are in quarantine,” TUI Mikkel Hansen, head of travel company, told Politiken.
TUI has three Danes at the hotel and a total of eight Nordic guests. Bravo Tours has two that they are in contact with.
“Our guests have been told that they cannot go in or out until the Spanish authorities have been there,” says press contact at Bravo Tours Sidsel Nordestgard.
Neither TUI nor Bravo Tours have been told by the Spanish authorities why the hotel is barred.
