Another model of Seattle's Cupra sub-brand has arrived. Leon bears this sign for the first time, which is logical after the introduction brand new generations of this model.
Many comment that it is visually even more attractive than Golf. The flavors are not discussed but this time we have to agree. The only thing that is certain is that the quality of the material in the interior will not be better with the Spaniard.
The essence of the Cupra Leon is certainly in its performance. As many as three variants will be available to buyers. The first is a 2.0 TSI with 245 hp and 370 Nm. The middle is represented by the same engine but with 300 hp and 400 Nm. The strongest variant will have 310 hp and 400 Nm, but will be reserved exclusively for the station wagon.
As before, the hatchback has a front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is reserved for the wagon. No performance data for Leon Cupra has been released so far, but it has been confirmed that one of the versions will reach 100 in 4.8 seconds!
And that's not all! A plug-in hybrid variant is also provided for Cupra Leon. It is a 1.4 TSI engine that, combined with an electric motor, achieves a total of 245 hp and 400 Nm. The batteries have a capacity of 13 kWh and can run up to fifty kilometers on electricity.
