The new version of Office mobile is now available on iOS. After unveiling it first on Android, the unified Office mobile application, which combines Word, Excel and PowerPoint, can be downloaded for free today from the App Store.
Available in preview since last November, Office mobile allows you to use the three flagship tools of Microsoft's office suite, without having to switch from one application to another. Users who only need one of the three tools can still download them individually from the Play Store and the App Store.
In addition to classic office tools, this new version of Office Mobile integrates Notes as well as the Office Lens document scanner. All documents generated in the application can be saved locally, on the OneDrive online storage, but also on other services such as Google Drive or DropBox.
In addition, Microsoft had the very good idea to integrate small features into its application (stock), which allow you to quickly perform certain manipulations (file sharing, extracting text from an image, signing a PDF, etc.) on the fly.

Microsoft is preparing three new features
After announcing the availability of its new Office application, Microsoft took the opportunity to present three new features that should be integrated soon.
Word will soon support voice dictation, allowing all users to use their voice and a few voice commands to add punctuation, to write a document without having to type it on the keyboard.
Excel will benefit from a display in “map” format to better visualize and edit the information displayed in a column.
Finally, PowerPoint will offer the possibility of writing the content and adding the illustrations to your presentation in a simplified workspace. The tool will automatically arrange everything in the different slides.
The completely free app is available for download now on Android and iOS. It can be used without signing in to a Microsoft account and does not require a paid Office 365 account to work.
However, if you're an Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscriber, connecting your account to the app will allow you to access premium features in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
