Share prices on the stock market, which is approaching 580 points, are on the rise, surpassing European markets, which are moving up sharply, as the slowdown in corona deaths on the European continent strengthens hopes that quarantine measures will begin.
The General Price Index, at 15:25, stands at 578.89 points, up 7.06%.
The value of the transactions amounts to 38.39 million euros.
The index of high capitalization increased by 7.33%, while the index of medium capitalization increased by 4.30%.
All the shares of high capitalization recorded an increase and the largest increase was recorded by the shares of Ethniki (+ 10.54%), Aegean Airlines (+ 10.33%), Viohalco (+ 9.80%), Alpha Bank ( + 9.67%) and OTE (+ 9.52%).
All sub-indices are moving upwards and the largest increase is recorded by the indices of Telecommunications (+ 9.52%) and Banks (+ 9.25%).
Eurobank and Alpha Bank present the largest volume of transactions with 13,136,757 and 4,865,671 shares respectively.
Eurobank has the highest value of transactions with 4.795 million euros and Ethniki with 4.244 million euros.
98 stocks are up, 19 are down and 7 are flat.
The biggest increase is recorded by the shares: Mevaco + 24.24% and Vioter + 19.85%.
The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Tzirakian -21.89% and SATO -19.05%.
