The BMW Vision iNext concept car has been visiting Sweden. Joakim Dyredand got an interview with the Swedish Erik Melldahl, who helped to design the futuristic interior.
Next year it is time for a new car from BMWi, the electrified division at BMW. It will be a large and spacious car, like a huge i3.
Its shape and proportions are hinted at by the concept car Vision iNext and Joakim Dyredand have taken a closer look at this chocolat together with Erik Melldahl, the Swede who has been with and designed the interior.
Vision iNext is something of a rolling lounge, completely free of buttons and controls. Here, an autonomous progress is in focus, where the occupants can catch up and converse instead of putting full focus on the road.
BMW recently showcased the car at the eCar Expo fair at Friends Arena and it was here that we met Erik for a chat.
