Dilek Taktali, 33, a nephew of former Turkish Republican People's Party MP Ramiz Topal, has died from the coronavirus. Dilek was working at a hospital where he stuck the coronary virus on March 10, according to Turkish media. The young doctor complained of her high fever and severe illness while suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and had been receiving medication since childhood.
Her parents were negative for the virus, and today they would be released from the quarantine where they were placed at the time when Dilek was ill. Her uncle said the documents listed CovID-19 as the cause of death. The doctor was suffering from acute respiratory distress syndrome, according to a medical document published in the Sözcü newspaper.
