– PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), the official distributor of the Mazda brand in Indonesia, introduced its two newest models in a virtual procession, Friday (3/4). The two models are the new CX-9 variant and the refresh version for the CX-3.
Ricky Thio, Managing Director of PT EMI, said that the parties remain optimistic to continue pouring the latest models in the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ricky added that after two years of being marketed (2018) in Indonesia, the All-New CX-9 is claimed to have received an extraordinary response from consumers in the country.
“For this reason, we present an additional variant to complement the existing model, the AWD type, to provide additional choices for the premium SUV lover,” he added.
For this variant still pinned the same engine fueled with gasoline with pure capacity of 2,488 cc plus turbo. The All-New CX-9 AWD is marketed at a price of IDR 954.9 million OTR Jakarta.
For the special color of Machine Gray Metallic and Soul Red Crystal Metallic, consumers are required to spend an additional IDR 4 million. Whereas the non-AWD CX-9 is still available with a tag of Rp.849.9 million.
New Type Additions
In addition to the All New CX-9, PT EMI also presents a new type in the CX-3 range that is already on the market. The refreshment of the display was infiltrated in both brand-new types, namely Pro and Sport variants.
For information, this SUV crossover which was brought directly from Japan, previously only offered two types, namely GT and Touring.
“The addition of this new trim provides more choices for fans of this SUV crossover. So, currently the Mazda CX-3 has four trim options, “Ricky explained further.
Overall, these two newer types still use the same base model as the previous one. Three focus improvements are embedded in the CX-3 Pro model.
The three parts include the use of shiny (bright) colors on the four wheels, and the Piano Black color dressing on the garnish pillars in the middle of the door panel (Pillar-C).
While improvements in the interior in the form of layers of Deep Red Nappa Leather, as well as electrically seating the driver's seat.
To produce power and torque, the two types of this brand-new CX-3 still rely on the SKYACTIV-G 2.0 with a capacity of 2,000 cc, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Both of these variants are offered at a price of Rp.445.8 million for the PRO type and Rp.399.9 million for the Sport variant, in Jakarta OTR conditions. (dp / MTH)
