If you want to entertain your children with a special experiment that will really leave them speechless, then jointly make walking water.
We found this phenomenal experiment on Coffeecupsandcrayons. The point of this experiment is to transfer water from one jar to another using kitchen towels, and if the water is colored the result will be even better.
- Three glass jars
- Kitchen towels
- Food color
Line the three jars side by side, the jar in the middle should be empty, and pour the water halfway into the other two sides.
Color the water in the jars with the colors you want, but they should be different. Take two kitchen towels and roll them. Place one towel so that one end is in the first jar and the other end is empty. One end of the other towel should be in the third jar and the other also in the empty one.
The next thing you need to do is wait for the water from these two jars to go to the empty one and create a whole new color.
Phenomenal, isn't it?
