Magriculture minister Branislav Nedimovic stressed that agriculture production in Serbia did not stop due to the virus corona, and this is confirmed by farmers who continued their obligations in the fields, orchards regardless of the state of emergency.
Mladen Minic, president of the Young Farmers of Serbia Association for a Better Land, said their members had some concerns but were not concerned.
“We are always available to our members for whatever they need. In this period of emergency, most people ask about buying a throat since the rulebook has recently come out, subsidized loans because some farmers need to bridge this period now, they are confused about these movement permits during curfew, and there are those who they have some concerns about registering farms, ”says Minić.
He adds that farmers who are not their members are also contacted, so they do their best to provide them with all the necessary information.
